Taking turns being King Winter during circletime

The children love to make their own loaf of bread to take home each Monday...today we made whole wheat raisin bread

Tiger hasn't attended on Monday since the beginning of the school year.....he didn't forget how to make bread though!

Our geraniums are blooming. They are giving us hope that spring is just around the corner.......goodbye King Winter!

The day started with some creative play....

Feb. 17, 18 and 22

Lady bug tracing constellations...a great pre-writing activity

Sorting sparkly pom poms with tweezers....I put these out last week for "space week"....I was hoping it looked a little "galactic"
Last year I had this work out for a short while and no one was very interested but this year Iish loves it.....an example of the right thing at the right time!

Our learning focus this week is the Solar System

Peel and stick stars is a great fine motor activity for the Littles.
Building towers with knobless cylinders....it's not as easy as it looks!

We got creative with our bingo dabbers this morning..
To go along with this week's learning focus we had star fruit on our fruit plates for afternoon snack today....

Ladybug thought the Valentine's bead work was very pretty....

Flowerpot loves to paint. She is finally catching on that she can choose to paint everyday if she wants....
