One of those moments when the other children were interested in how their classmate was tackling the work.

Our learning focus for the past week and this week is Europe. We have been reading some European Fairytales each day. Today we read Puss in Boots.

For art today we made sculptures with packing noodles and pipe cleaners....most of the children decided to make their letters.

Tank is very careful to put everything back where it belongs. He has a little trouble getting the floor brush back on it hook. He perservered and finally did it.....you should have seen his face.

Flowerpot had a great time making her letters in the sandtray.

Sparkle worked hard on insets this morning.

Tank is ready to enjoy the jumbo peg board. Princess always likes to try any new practical life work....even it is something she has mastered.

Tank loves to take the knobless cylinders out of the box and then place them back in again....

We have really been enjoying our time outside this week. The weather has been warm for this time of year. We have had a little fresh snow to cover the really icy conditions from last week.

Princess and Tank were watching Peanut, who was carefully working with our "care of plants" tray.

Tank really is a little too young for this work...but he loves it. He spent 20mins working with these little boxes. First opening them all to see the surprise inside, then feeling all the little toys inside and finally trying to put the lids back on. He was working on his fine motor skills and his concentration.
